LOVE & RESPECT ADULT
CLASS
Couples, if you are
interested in building a rewarding relationship, this
class will be a great learning experience. Relationships
can be challenging, whether you are starting out, or
deep in the middle of yours, quality relationships
require effort and time. Nurturing what God has brought
into your life is essential for healthy relationships.
Attending this class does not mean your relationship is
in trouble, this is for anyone who is able to see the
importance of working on relationship enrichment. You do
not have to be married, and you do not have to attend
with your spouse in order for it to be beneficial. This
popular "Love and Respect" series has helped 1000's of
couples improve their relationship. It is based on the
book by the same name, by Emerson Eggerich. Emerson
makes the program fun, and is very "guy-friendly."
This is a ten week class, beginning January 15, 2012,
continuing through March 18, 2012. We will
meet from 11:00--12:30, childcare will be provided.
Led by Jim & Donna Thurston, LCPC, and Margie
Wheelhouse, Counseling Intern. If you would like to
order the workbook that corresponds with the series,
they are $5.00 each. Please let us know when you
register, whether you would like a workbook. If you have
any questions or would like to sign up for the class,
you can sign up at the church Welcome Center, or call
Donna at 483-1224, or email her at
crossroads@chathampresbyterian.org.

Premarital Counseling
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
“Two people are better than one, because they get
more done by working together. If one falls down, the
other can help him up. But it is bad for the person who
is alone and falls, because no one is there to help.
If two lie down together, they will be warm, but a
person alone will not be warm. An enemy might defeat one
person, but two people together can defend themselves; a
rope that is woven of three strings is hard to break.”
